Jeff joined the firm in January 2007. His previous experience includes serving as legal counsel to several committees of the Virginia General Assembly, including the Senate Local Government and House Counties, Cities and Towns Committees. He also staffed the Virginia Commission on Growth and Economic Development and the Virginia Disability Commission during his four years at the Virginia Division of Legislative Services. Prior to his work at DLS, Jeff served as a legislative aide during the 2000 General Assembly Session to the Hon. John C. Watkins, 10th Senatorial District of Virginia. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Jeff was Director of Governmental Affairs for the Virginia Association of Counties.

Awards

• East-West Center New Generation Seminar, Honolulu, Bangkok, Hong Kong 2005 Fellowship Recipient. Two-week intensive educational and dialogue program for rising young leaders from the United States and Asia Pacific nations.

Services

Jeff provides pro bono legal work to several non-profit organizations in the Richmond area. He is chairman of the board of directors for ReEstablish Richmond, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to securing safe and affordable housing for newly arrived refugees in Virginia.
